Research into Institution Logos

All four images above are examples of short film institutes logos, Sundance, Final cut film, BFI Film Forever, and SAE Institute. These examples of logos from different short film institutes are very useful for group research due to the fact that they express a simple, but effective image with their designs. All four examples have simplistic shapes and colour schemes which have the effect of drawing the audience’s attention to the writing, giving more exposure to the name of company, making them more known. Through searching for short film institutions, I have learnt that these are a few of the most well known companies, which supports the point that having a basic design, it was be successful and beneficial for the company itself. Considering this finding, as a group we will be regard the fact that simple is effective and will be incorporating this in our logo when we make ours.
